Description
The GE Fanuc IC697CMM741 is a single-slot Ethernet communication module for the Series 90-70 PLC, enabling direct connection to IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD LANs via AUI port.

Features
Part of the IC651 Factory LAN family, it supports 10 Mbps Ethernet communication and connects PLCs to local networks. Features RS-232 DTE serial port (9600 bps) for connection to Local GSM. Includes onboard battery for data retention during power loss. Equipped with LED indicators for MODULE OK, ONLINE, and STATUS OK. Requires secure grounding via green wire for proper operation. Must be installed in the first slot to the right of CPU or BTM; cannot have empty slots to its left.
