The Bachmann DPM200 is a PROFIBUS® DP master/slave module designed for fieldbus communication in industrial automation systems.

Features
Supports operation as DP master, DP slave, or combined master/slave. Compatible with multi-master networks and offers configurable consistency locks for data blocks.

Fieldbus Performance
Transfer rate ranges from 9.6 kbaud to 12 Mbaud. Supports up to 32 slaves without repeater and 125 slaves with repeater.

Process Data
Large process image of 8 kB x 16 DPM. Data length per slave is 732 bytes. Shared memory for process data image is 8 kB.

Interfaces
Two 9-pin D-Sub female connectors with RS485 signal level. Pin assignment complies with EN 50170. Galvanic isolation of 500 V between fieldbus and controller.
