The ABB SDCS-COM-1 is a communication interface board designed for DCS 500 series thyristor power converters, enabling serial data exchange with PCs and field networks.

Provides three independent communication channels with color-coded connectors (blue for RxD, grey for TxD). Compatible with all DCS 500 converter modules regardless of software version. Supports HDLC, DDCS, and other industrial protocols via adapter modules.
