Technical Specifications

Media Support: Twisted Pair and Coaxial
- For Twisted Pair: Use with modems TC512V1 or TC516 (metal housing)
- For Coaxial: Utilizes modem TC625 (metal housing), requiring a special connection cable
Redundancy:
- Max 4 meters cable difference between any two stations on the bus when using coaxial media
- Full redundancy support on twisted pair media
Termination:
- Requires termination units: 150 ohm for twisted pair (e.g., TC501V150) and 75 ohm for coaxial (BNC termination connector unit)
Connection Cables:
- TK515 for connections between CI526V1 and modems TC625/TC512/TC516; length of 1.8 meters
- TK549 also connects CI526V1 to modem TC625 but includes an additional power connector for TC625's power supply, length unspecified
- TK593 offers a longer alternative at 3.6 meters for similar connections
