This power supply is a half-height module that must be installed in designated slots on the left side of the rack. The rack can accommodate one or two power supplies, which can be either AC or DC, in any combination. A full rack can be powered by either type of supply.

Hot-Swap Capability: Removing or inserting either power supply module does not affect the operation of the rack, provided a second power supply is installed.
Versatile Input: The DC Power Supplies accept a wide range of input voltages and convert them to the voltages required by other 3500 modules.
Compatibility: The Universal AC Power Supply is not compatible with the Legacy AC Power Supply, High Voltage AC PIM, and Low Voltage AC PIM. Similarly, the Legacy High Voltage and Low Voltage DC Power Supplies and PIMs are not compatible with the Legacy 3500 High Voltage and Low Voltage DC Power Supplies and PIMs.
