- Off: Attempting to block transfer with the PLC but has failed.

- Off: No detected system problems during background diagnostics.
- On: System problem detected during background diagnostics.

CONFIGURATION (CFG): Green
- Off: No configuration activity occurring.
- Blink: Indicates receipt of a Module Configuration block from processor ladder logic.
- On: Configuration error detected in port or system settings.

BACKPLANE (BPLN): Red
- Off: Normal state when ACT light blinks quickly, indicating active block transfers with the PLC.
- On: Indicates failure in block transfers between the PLC and module.

ERROR 1 & ERROR 2 (ERR1, ERR2): Amber
- Off: No communication errors while actively transferring data.
- Blink: Periodic communication errors are occurring.
- On: Persistent conditions like unsatisfied CTS input, port/system configuration errors, or recurring errors on MCM master.
