GE Fanuc|IC693APU305| High-Speed I/O Processor Module
GE Fanuc IC693APU305 High-Speed I/O Processor Module
Description
GE Fanuc IC693APU305 is a high-speed input/output processor module for Series 90-30 PLCs, capable of autonomous signal processing for fast-response control applications.
Features
- Autonomous operation: processes inputs and controls outputs without CPU intervention
- Communicates with CPU via 32 discrete inputs (%I), 32 discrete outputs (%Q), 15 words analog inputs (%AI), and 6 words analog outputs (%AQ) per CPU scan
- Configurable via handheld programmer, Logic Master 90-30, or VersaPro software
- No jumpers or DIP switches; fully software-configured
- Internal diagnostics with watchdog timer for fault detection
Technical Specifications
-
Inputs: 12 positive logic (source) points
- Voltage options: 5 VDC (TTL) or 10–30 VDC (non-TTL)
-
Outputs: 8 positive logic (source) points
- 4 outputs: 1 A each
- 4 configurable outputs: 0.5 A each
- All outputs protected by a single replaceable fuse
- I/O Update Rate: 500 µs (dedicated processor)
-
Data Registers:
- 4 Strobe registers for input position capture
- 2 Timer registers for pulse length/spacing (in ms)
- 32-bit Total Counts register
- 32 range comparators (outputs in %I and %AI)
- Communication: 32 discrete I/O points and 21 words of analog I/O with CPU
- Indicators: 6 green LEDs for module status, configuration, and outputs 1–4
-
Power:
- Logic: 5 VDC from backplane bus
- Field I/O: External user-supplied or +24 VDC isolated supply
