WOODWARD XD1G11 Differential Protection Relay
Description
The WOODWARD XD1G11 is a differential protection relay designed for line protection up to 1500 meters, utilizing summation current transformers to combine three-phase currents into a single-phase signal for fault detection.
Features
Uses summation C.T. type XD1-GW135 for three-phase current combination.
Requires only two auxiliary wires for signal supervision.
Built-in pilot wire monitoring detects breaks or supply failures and blocks tripping.
Complies with international standards including IEC 255 and VDE 0435.
Technical Specifications
Rated current: 1 A or 5 A
Rated frequency: 50–60 Hz
Power consumption: < 0.1 VA at 1 A
Thermal withstand: 250 × In (dynamic), 100 × In for 1 s, 30 × In for 10 s, 4 × In continuous
Summation C.T. ratio: 5/5/5/5/0.25 A or 1/1/1/1/0.25 A
