GE Fanuc IC200MDL650 Discrete Input Module
Description
The GE Fanuc IC200MDL650 is a 32-point discrete input module in the VersaMax series, supporting both positive and negative logic inputs with configurable response times.
Features
- 32 discrete input points, grouped into 4 groups of 8
- Supports positive logic (sourcing) and negative logic (sinking)
- Negative logic requires IC200MDL650C or later version
- Powered directly from backplane; no external power needed
- No point-to-point isolation
- Configurable input filter times via CPU software
- Two green LED indicators for status
- Compatible with CPU or NIU-based systems
Technical Specifications
- Input voltage range: 0 to 30 VDC (nominal 24 VDC)
- On-state voltage: 15–30 VDC
- On-state current: 2–5.5 mA
- Input impedance: ≤10 kΩ
- Backplane power: 5 VDC, maximum 50 mA
- Response time: Default 0.5 ms, configurable with filter settings of 0 ms, 1 ms, or 7 ms
- Thermal derating: Required at 30 VDC depending on ambient temperature and orientation
