Description
The GE Fanuc IC697BEM742 is a FIP Bus Controller (FBC) module designed to interface the FIP I/O serial bus with the IC697 PLC system.
Features
Supports redundant FIP bus with two channels. Includes RS-485 port for in-system firmware upgrades. Features a pushbutton for reset and upgrade enable. Stores configuration and diagnostic data from remote devices. Compatible with Windows 95/NT programming software. Automatically reports faults to CPU and displays them in the fault table.
