ABB |DATX130| I/O Module
Overview
The ABB DATX130 is a specialized I/O module designed for monitoring motor rotor conditions in industrial automation and control systems.
Features
- Supports monitoring up to four motor rotors
- Configurable parameters for specific application needs
- Designed for high reliability in industrial environments
Technical Specifications
Rotor Monitoring Channels
- Up to 4 motor rotors can be connected and monitored
- Parameters: USE_ROT1, USE_ROT2, USE_ROT3, USE_ROT4 (each set to 1 if monitoring is desired)
Speed Feedback Selection
- Selection between 4 inputs for speed feedback (ROTOR_FB):
- First input to DATX 130
- Second input to DATX 130
- Third input to DATX 130
- Fourth input to DATX 130
Protection Settings
- PTC_ACTN setting:
- With PTC_ACTN = 1, high resistance values in PTC3 or PTC4 trigger a trip
- With PTC_ACTN = 0, high resistance values in PTC3 or PTC4 result in flashing indication
Operator Station Configuration
- STA2_PA2 setting:
- When set to 0, DI 3 selects between two operator stations, and DI 4 selects between two macros per station
- When set to 1, DI 3 and DI 4 select one of four macros (not available for Shared motion or RUN_TYPE=5)
Analog Output Control
-
SELECT_A parameter:
- Value = 0: 0 V corresponds to 0% actual line current, +10 V to 400%
- Value = 1: -10 V corresponds to -200% speed reference, +10 V to +200%
-
SELECT_B parameter:
- Value = 0: -10 V corresponds to -400% torque reference, +10 V to +400%
- Value = 1: Depending on TWIN_OVL setting, it can represent load in weight units or ±200% actual speed
Response Time
- Digital inputs: <5 ms
- Analog inputs: <10 ms
Power Supply
- Voltage: 24 V DC (±10%)
- Maximum current consumption: 500 mA
Operating Temperature
- Range: -25°C to +60°C
Isolation
- Channel-to-system isolation: 500 V AC
Dimensions
- Size: 120 mm × 70 mm × 85 mm
Weight
- Approximately 300 g
